California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools (CCPPNS)CCPPNS
is currently comprised of 14 regional councils representing
approximately 270 schools and more than 9,000 families. CCPPNS and the
San Francisco Council are resources with regard to parent education,
legislation geared towards early childhood development, training and
community outreach. For more information about CCPPNS, please see their
website at http://www.ccppns.org. | Parents for Public Schools - San Francisco (PPS-SF)PPS-SF
is the only California chapter of a national nonprofit organization
dedicated to keeping families informed about, and connected to, public
schools. In support of our public schools, PPS-SF has hosted many
events at elementary and middle schools, educating parents about the
district assignment process, how to choose a school, how to prepare
their child for kindergarten, language programs, and more. For further
information on PPS-SF, please visit their website at http://www.ppssf.org/. | Terra Firma Farm Organic Weekly BoxVisit their website to find out more. http://www.terrafirmafarm.com/ The
box comes with an informative newsletter every week -- plus it includes
recipes. Online you can find more recipes from previous newsletter
issues -- so there are always options -- so, even if you've never fixed
green garlic or savoy cabbage, there's help. We love the surprises, and
after a year and a half have begun to enjoy the regular cycle thru the
year. |
