California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools (CCPPNS)
CCPPNS is currently comprised of 14 regional councils representing approximately 270 schools and more than 9,000 families. CCPPNS and the San Francisco Council are resources with regard to parent education, legislation geared towards early childhood development, training and community outreach. Parents for Public Schools - San Francisco (PPS-SF)
PPS-SF is the only California chapter of a national nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping families informed about, and connected to, public schools. In support of our public schools, PPS-SF has hosted many events at elementary and middle schools, educating parents about the district assignment process, how to choose a school, how to prepare their child for kindergarten, language programs, and more.
