We believe that nursery school should provide children with a supportive environment in which to explore who they are and their relationships with others through play. At Miraloma, children have an opportunity to make choices about what, where, and with whom to play within an extended time period. This allows them to learn about the consequences of those choices, and to experience success in creating and determining their own play. Building a positive self-image and positive social relationships are the main goals of our programs. With the self-confidence and interpersonal skills acquired at Miraloma, children are ready and able to meet the academic and social challenges that lie ahead. |
