MIRALOMA VALUES AND PHILOSOPHY
We believe nursery school should provide children with a supportive environment in which to explore who they are and their relationships with others through play. Our main goal is to help children build a positive self‑image and form positive social relationships. At Miraloma, children can make choices about what, where and with whom to play. This allows them to build independence and fosters genuine connections with a diverse community of adults and children as they explore their unique abilities. We aim to meet the needs of each child and encourage their interests. By helping children develop self‑confidence, self-regulation, and problem solving, and conflict resolution skills, they will be ready to meet the academic and social challenges that lie ahead.
We strive to provide a loving, kind, inclusive and safe environment for children to learn. We believe that when teachers, families and children work together in a collaborative and compassionate environment, it serves as a model for our children to learn positive social behaviors, community engagement and responsibility, and respect for others.
