Our Program
We accept children who are potty trained, from age 2 years and 9 months up to 6 years old.
We are a year-round school, however, we close for two weeks in August, two weeks around the New Year, one week in the Spring, and the typical SFUSD public holidays throughout the year.
For a few weeks in the Spring, we run “Kindergarten Club” for children who will be entering Kindergarten the following Fall. During Kindergarten Club, children practice some of the basic skills used in Kindergarten (listening attentively to the teacher, using scissors, writing their name, etc.) for roughly 30 minutes on selected days.
Tuition and fees
At Miraloma Cooperative Nursery School, all families are encouraged to teach but we do understand that some families do have limitations with small siblings at home or work schedules. Our school is run by parent participation, so everyone is asked to contribute in different ways. Our enrollment department can help you navigate the different ways to help at school if being a weekly (bi-weekly) teaching parent is not an option at the moment.
First Tuition Billing/Tuition Deposit
First billing period of tuition is paid in advance at the time of acceptance at Miraloma. This is the non-refundable tuition deposit.
Monthly Tuition
Tuition bills are distributed the first week of each month for the following month's tuition. Tuition bills are payable on the 20th of each month. This applies to September through July of each year.

Scholarships

Application Fee
A $40 non-refundable processing fee is due with each child’s application for enrollment.
